The overall size, TL ca 19 mm, and mandible shape would appear to place this in subgenus Dorylus.

Also from Cameroun (at Bibundi, by Tessman), the Congo (at Ogowe, by Mocquerys) and, Fernando Po (by Conradt; Santa Isabel by Schultze); plus a single male found in Zaïre (at Stanleyville, by Lang & Chapin); (Wheeler, 1922).
