Type locality Guinea (Anomma erratica, F.Smith, 1865: 71, worker wrongly given as from "New Guinea"; location correction by Wilson, 1964a: 443; in Dorylus by Emery, 1910b: 15; in Anomma by Donisthorpe, 1932c: 473); worker only known (see Bolton (1995) .

As a single small (ca 4.3 mm) worker there is no possibility for modern species allocation.
