| The Ants of
Africa SUBFAMILY MYRMICINAE - Genus Pheidole provisional key to minor workers of all African species |
|
| Genus Pheidole Introduction |
I have attempted to compile a key to those species for which I have sufficiently detailed descriptions and/or have illustrations.
Provisional key to workers of named species and separable forms
April 2010 - I have added the Cephalic Index CI = HW/HL and Scape
Index, SI = SL/HW. None of the indices appear in the published
literature and so are for specimens I have diagnosed as being of the
species or, less commonly, from earlier illustrations.
