Santschi, 1929f: 86, major, minor & queen) collected at Koulouba,
French Sudan, by Andrieu; major, minor and queen described (see Bolton,
1995, note country wrongly given as Sudan, see Geography) .
Santschi's (1929f) description is at . Apparently close to Pheidole
corticicola.

Pongara National Park, Gabon 34, 17.v-9.vi.2006; Malase trap under
trees; collected by Yves Braet. This appears to match the Santschi
description, notably the deep longitudinal impression of the front of
